Strider

The Strider brand was established in 2007 by Ryan McFarland, a lover of bike riding who wanted to share this passion with his toddler son, Bode. Frustrated by the training bikes that were then available, many of which were bulky, heavy or complicated, he decided to build his own. He came up with a bicycle that was lightweight, appropriately sized, and could be easily controlled by Bode. The brand emphasizes teaching kids how to balance on any terrain, creating a better bike riding experience for kids and parents alike. The Strider brand is a community-focused company, curating Strider events to connect parents and children that are passionate about riding bikes.
