The Levy Electric Scooters come with a six month warranty covering parts due to manufacturing defects. If a defect arises during the warranty period, Levy will repair the affected product at no charge, exchange with an equivalent refurbished replacement, or supply a replacement part if it the problem is isolated and can be rectified with new part(s).
Items damaged due to misuse of the scooter, or incidental issues due to normal wear and tear are not included in this policy. Specifically, issues related to tires, worn brakes, joints loosening, scratches, dents, broken plastic, or water damage are not covered under the warranty replacement program. However, parts can be purchased directly from our website in these situations.

Battery Related Issues: Lithium-ion battery packs are consumable products that can lose charge capacity over time. See here for tips on prolonging the life of your battery. Defective batteries are rare, but they are covered under warranty. Receiving a defective battery would usually mean it can not be charged or operated inside the scooter. If you believe your battery is defective, please upload photos of the battery's serial number below.
Dead on Arrival: In the rare case where your scooter arrives defective, Levy will either replace the defective component, repair the scooter, or send a replacement unit at no charge. In situations where the customer elects to have the scooter sent back to us, we will provide a prepaid return label. In situations when a replacement component was sent and the scooter need to be sent in tot he NYC office, the customer will be responsible for shipping the scooter to Levy.
Extended Warranty: The extended warranty is available to purchase at checkout or up to 30 days after purchase. For more details on the extended warranty, including instructions on how to submit a claim - please see here.
Warranty on Repairs / Replacements: Any repairs or replacements made by Levy on a product that is already beyond our manufacturer's 6 month warranty will be entitled to a limited 90 day warranty that includes any defects related to the specific components that were repaired and/or replaced.
Warranty on Parts: Any parts purchased will be entitled to a limited 90 day warranty that includes any defects related to the specific components purchased. Items damaged due to misuse, or incidental issues due to normal wear and tear are not included in this policy. Specifically, issues related to tires, worn brakes, joints loosening, or water damage are not covered under the warranty replacement program.
Returns and Cancellations
Returning Products within 14 Days of Delivery: Any product purchased directly through Levy can be returned within 14 days of receiving the project for a refund to the original method of payment. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee for any new, unused products in the original packaging.
Any products that have been lightly used out of the box and/or ridden will carry a restocking fee of 20% if returned within 14 days after delivery. Returns will not be accepted for any products that show abnormal wear & tear or physical damage.
Once an RMA is approved, the customer has 28 days to ship the product back to Levy Electric. Should the product not be returned to Levy Electric within 28 days then the RMA validity is voided, returns will no longer accepted and any labels created will be canceled.
Items Returned while in Transit: If you wish to cancel your order after it has already been processed, please contact us to let us know. Once we have the shipment re-routed and received back to our warehouse we will process the refund (minus the return shipping costs and 10% restocking fee).
In some situations, the product may end up being delivered after the cancellation request. If that is the case, it is the buyer's responsibility to return the product back to our warehouse for restocking.

Items purchased through any of Levy’s affiliated retailers are not eligible for return through Levy.
Gear.com offers free ground shipping anywhere in the continental US for any order of $69 or more. Gear.com orders under $69 ship anywhere within the continental US for a flat rate of $9.95. Excludes oversized items - Oversized shipping rates apply automatically at checkout.
Shipment tracking typically takes 2 - 7 business days to update. We will notify you as soon as your tracking number becomes available. Please be sure to check your promotions, spam or junk mail folders for these updates. Once your order hits the road, standard shipping takes approximately 3 - 7 business days for delivery. During the Holidays the estimated shipping window is extended to approximately 5 - 10 business days.
Gear.com orders can be shipped from multiple warehouses across the United States and can be shipped using FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. Some brands have shipping restrictions and cannot ship to USPS PO BOX or Freight Forwarding addresses and will be noted on the product page description.
International and Expedited Shipping:
Unfortunately we're unable to promise or guarantee delivery by a specific date and don't offer overnight or express shipping at this time. We also do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, US territories, or international addresses. Please feel free to reach out to support@gear.com with any questions!

We understand that not every purchase works out. New, unused gear in original packaging and hangtags can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund to your original method of payment or for an exchange. We reserve the right to deny/refuse any return requests.

Due to high demand, our returns process may take longer than usual. Typically, we will issue a refund within 10 business days after we receive your package. It may take up to 3 additional weeks for your bank to refund your credit card. Thank you for your patience as we process returns as quickly and safely as possible. How to return by mail
Follow these three steps to submit your return:

Visit our Returns Portal - returns.gear.com
To make shipping a return even easier, our returns portal allows you to submit a return request. After we review your request and have authorization from the return warehouse, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label via email.
Please note: Oversized items (such as coolers, skis, furniture, large stoves and tents, etc) will be charged an oversized item return fee. Please don’t hesitate to ask support@gear.com if you have any questions about typical return shipping for an oversized item you may order. -
Pack your return
Pack your item(s) securely and include the original product packaging and tags. -
Prepare & ship your package
Tape your package securely and affix your return shipping label to the outside. (Hint: If you cover or remove all existing shipping labels, you can usually reuse the bag or box your order came in.) Drop off your package at a carrier location near you. We’ll email you once we’ve issued a store credit or a refund – typically within 10 business days after we receive your package. It may take up to 3 additional weeks for your bank to refund your credit card. PLEASE NOTE: PREPAID LABELS EXPIRE 15 DAYS FROM DATE WE SEND THEM TO YOU.
- If we have questions about your return, we will contact you by phone or email.
- Returned merchandise that does not meet the conditions of the Gear.com Return Policy will be declined and a refund will not be issued. Pictures may be required to confirm the condition of your return.
- All items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for returns.
Some items cannot be returned via our returns portal, including the following:
- Hazardous materials
- Food items
- Oversize items
- Some Corporate & Group Sales items
Mail-in return exceptions may apply to coolers, tents, kayaks, surfboards, SUP boards, cargo boxes, car racks, indoor cycles, power stations and more.
Furniture Returns
- Must be fully disassembled.
- Must be returned in the original box.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that are not fully disassembled and in the original shipping box.
Store Credit
Store credit issued for returned products will expire one year from the date of issuance.
