Klymit uses Body Mapping technology to achieve comfortable, consistent support where your body touches the sleeping surface and eliminates unnecessary materials. Changing the shape of the baffles also contributed to the comfort and popularity of the original Static V inflatable pad. Since then, more than a dozen iterations have been created to accommodate different body types and camping preferences, including insulating pads designed specifically for use in hammocks. Klymit’s line of outdoor gear has expanded to include backpacks with airframes, dinghies, travel pillows, and sleeping bags. Prototypes are fabricated on-site and tested in the Utah-based company’s backyard: the Wasatch Mountains. With this sort of innovation, it’s no wonder Klymit has been on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies for multiple years.
